"WATER FOR LIFE" PROJECT

The "WATER for LIFE" project is being prepared by the company based on the transfer of intellectual property and ownership of studies, in cooperation with the Association for the Development of the Microregion "Vážská vodná cesta" Hlohovec and also in cooperation with Slovak state and regional institutions. It also continued cooperation with the affected municipalities and cities in the region, which brings support in the area of securing all necessary legislative needs aimed at speeding up the implementation of the plan. An integral part of the preparation of the overall project is the processing of the marketing study, which is currently underway and which is an integral part of the subsequent processing of the EIA study of the project "WATER FOR LIFE" I. Stages of launching Váh and related projects.

ENERGETICS

The hydropower system generated 4 844 GWh of electricity in 2016, representing more than 16% of total generation. The most powerful power plants are PVE "Čierny Váh" (735 MW) and "Vodné dielo Gabčíkovo" (720 MW), while the Vážská cascade with 22 hydroelectric power stations with an installed capacity of 1,515 MW plays an irreplaceable role.An integral part of the power project of I.I.G. Czech a.s. I.G.I. I.G. is a part of the I.G.I. I.G. Group's integral part of the energy system is the support of the distribution network of charging stations for electric vehicles and the support of other available energy outputs from renewable sources such as photovoltaic systems - solar panels, but also wind turbines without blades, which are an alternative solution to the photovoltaic system.

GREEN HYDROGEN

The main strategic objectives and rationale for the preparation of the Hydrogen Strategy are: Reducing greenhouse gas emissions and Promoting economic growth. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is a clearly defined objective both in terms of the Green Deal for Europe and the European Hydrogen Strategy. In the framework of EU policies, hydrogen is defined as one of the important tools for achieving climate neutrality and for ensuring decarbonisation in sectors where other ways of reducing greenhouse gas emissions cannot be deployed.For this project "GREEN HYDROG" and all its preparation, I.I.G. Czech a.s. is cooperating with world leading scientists and companies, both in the production, storage and distribution parts.
